The University of Missouri – St. Louis, often referred to as UMSL, is spread across 470 acres in suburban St. Louis County and is approximately 5 minutes east of Lambert airport. The University of Notre Dame, founded in 1842, is a private, Catholic university located in South Bend, Indiana, on the homelands of the Pokagon Potawatomi. The University is recognized for its undergraduate focus, sense of tradition, community life, school spirit, and faith-centered atmosphere. ND's 32 residence halls and 500+ clubs and organizations serve as the center of the student social life.
